BNPS Sports Academy was launched on 02nd
April 2011 to promote sports, to serve the neighborhood area and bring
East Delhi at par with other parts of Delhi. The B.N.P.S. Sports
Academy offers a year long coaching for children aged 6 to 18 years. A variety
of different sports are offered to the children with an opportunity to
learn new sport skills in a safe, fun, non – competitive environment.
The emphasis in the Academy will be fun, meeting other children, &
becoming physically active while learning a variety of skills and also
short-term focus is to provide a one-stop training and support
environment for identified sport, offering elite athletes the
opportunity to prepare for the National/International level standards.
Aims & Objectives
The main AIM
of the Academy is to provide a carefully planned, stimulating
environment which will help each child develop an excellent foundation
for creative learning and independence.
Objective
Developing a positive attitude towards Life
Most of the
learning activities are individualized. Each child can work at his or
her own rate, repeating a task as often as he or she likes. This leads
to a series of successful achievements of tasks.
Helping each child develop self-confidence
Tasks are
designed so that each new step is built upon what the child has already
mastered.This removes the negative experience of frequent failure.
Assisting each child in building the habit of concentration
Through a
series of absorbing experiences, each child forms habits of extended
attention, thus increasing his or her ability to concentrate.
Fostering an abiding curiosity
Every child
is presented with opportunities to discover qualities, dimensions and
relationships amidst a rich variety of stimulating situations. This
develops curiosity, an essential element in creative learning.
Fostering inner security and sense of order in the child
A well-ordered, enriched but simplified environmentsatisfies children’s strong need for order and security.
Facilities
The Sports
Academy Campus is spread over an area of 3 acres of land which is
located at C/o; Bharat National Public School, Ram Vihar, Near
Karkardooma, Delhi – 110092.
The Academy provides facilities/training by Professional Coaches in
